"Crash" / "Colisão", de Paul Haggis, foi distinguido como o melhor filme na 78ª edição dos Óscares. "O Segredo de Brokeback Mountain", "King Kong" e "Memórias de uma Gueixa" arrebataram três galardões dourados cada.
